Many of the small business I’ve featured on The Shop Gal are owned and operated by moms. My Naptime Jewelry is no exception. Stay-at-home-mom, Michelle, used to be a pastry chef in her former life. She started making jewelry while her kids napped to keep her creative juices flowing. What started out as a hobby, turned into a business once Michelle realized she couldn’t possibly wear everything she was creating. What’s cool about her jewelry is that most of her designs are oil diffusing. Just add a drop of your favorite essential oil(s) and enjoy the benefits all day. I’m also loving Michelle’s take on the Mother’s necklace. It’s so different from any I’ve seen before, and I heart it. Read on to learn more about the shop and see a few more of my favorites. There might even be a giveaway at the end!
What is your favorite part of running at Etsy shop?
My favorite part about my business is making jewelry! It’s like a momentary escape from reality into a creative world where all I’m focused on is creating a perfect piece of jewelry and everything else is shut out. Even if I have a deadline, I still enjoy making each and every piece.
Computers😭 not my strong suit!
Why did you decide to open an Etsy shop?
I started my Etsy because I had created so much jewelry (during my kids nap time- hence my name 😉) I couldn’t wear or gift it all! I thought others might enjoy it too; so My Naptime Jewelry was born, and the rest is history!
