GueGue Creations is filled with delicate, beautiful jewelry that would make any woman feel like a lady. Shop owner, Ingrid, attended the Fashion Institute of Technology and knew immediately that a career working with her “hand and heart” was just what she needed. Ingrid creates beautiful pieces that are inspired “by the energy and diversity of this great city”.
I love the subtle hint of color in this first pair of cluster earrings. They add just enough punch to an outfit and could easily be worn with just about any color. The next pair of turquoise ruby earrings turn up the volume on that punch of color. These earrings scream summer to me. Love!
Colorful Cluster Earrings $49, Turquoise Ruby Earrings $45
How did your shop get it’s name?
GueGue is a childhood nickname that holds a special place in my heart. It was given to me after mispronouncing the letter b in “Abuela” (grandma in Spanish). My grandmother passed away shortly prior to the opening of my shop, I thought the name would be perfect.
While her earring designs are her bestsellers, Ingrid also creates gorgeous necklaces. I love how minimal yet striking the designs are. Here are two of my favorites.
Gold Turquoise Necklace $49, Layered Amethyst Necklace $69
What’s your favorite part of the business?
My favorite part of the business is working with my hands and seeing a design come together from beginning to end. It’s a form of meditation that brings me joy.
Both pairs of these earrings would be great for everyday wear. I love the textured detail on these gold hoops. It really adds some modern flair to an otherwise classic design.
Gold Textured Hoop Earrings $52, Sterling Silver Hoop Threader Earrings $45+
