CVennell Designs specializes in beautiful, delicate, personalized jewelry and layering necklaces. Shop owner, Carol, spent 25 years as a fashion illustrator in NYC and stumbled into the art of jewelry making in 2003. She opened her Etsy shop in 2010 and has created a successful business doing what she loves. Her designs are delicate, but the craftsmanship is stellar. I love Carol’s fresh take on a mother’s necklace. She has several designs to choose from or you can create and customize your own. Check out a few of my favorites pieces.
Carol believes that “the girl makes the jewelry, the jewelry does not make the girl.” I couldn’t agree more. Her pieces are as unique and special as the girl wearing them. Check out some more of her dainty designs.
Carol was kind enough to send her horseshoe necklace for me to review. It has a lightly hammered finish, is available in gold or silver, and can be made in 16″-19″ chain lengths. You could also add birthstone charms to it if you like. So many options! I chose the 18″ chain, and the length is perfect on me. Excuse the selfie, please! I still haven’t perfected the art of the self portrait. I normally don’t wear necklaces during the week because my mom-style is pretty casual, but today I put on this beauty while I ran errands. I felt put together without looking like I’m trying too hard. You can’t beat that.
